Theory11 Mobile/Tapatalk

Hey guys and gals,

How are you all doing this fine morning? Or I guess if you're on a completely different time zone, this fine evening? Anywho, how would you guys like it if the forums were a little more accessible on your mobile devices? I know that we can run Theory11 on our current mobile web browser, but it can be a little laggy at some points and that's a given. But I was thinking that, at least for the forums, we could use Tapatalk. Have any of you guys heard of it? It's an app that allows you to keep multiple forums in one app and make it a lot easier to browse on a mobile device. I've thrown this idea to Bayme and I am currently waiting on a response. Kinda just wanted to throw the idea out to the forums and see what you guys think about it. Below is the link to the tapatalk website if you'd like to check it out.

Hope nobody thinks this is some scam or anything. Its not. I'm pretty regular on the forums or at least used to be a lot. Just throwing out this idea to see if anyone else would use it. It really is a nice way to view the forums.

Seems like a good idea. I don't even try to use t11 and magic cafe on my phone because its to much a hassle.

It is a little bit of a hassle and yeah, with this it'll make it a lot easier to view the forums. Its just that Theory11 would have to allow it. Not exactly sure how that works, that's why I sent the links over to Bayme.

Awesome! That's another member that thinks its a good idea. We just gotta get the right person to hear about it so they can make it happen. I'm pretty excited for this.

Personally I really dislike tapatalk. (just my opinion of it). However I also find the overall mobile experience here quite challenging. More often than not I will type my posts on a notepad and paste them to the forums. I've lost too many posts. I don't think tapatalk is the best solution (as I wouldn't use it if it was there) but it would be a short term solution for some. They have done some great work in this area and I know they will continue. The mobile site keeps improving, but there is still more that will be done as they progress. I'm looking forward to what is in store for year 7!
