What do you answer when people ask you after your performance or in the middle of one, why don't you go to vegas and earn lots of money with cheating.

If you were going to give advice to someone who is just starting out in card magic, which sleights would you tell them to learn and spend most time working on perfecting them?
How do you entertain people with gambling demonstrations? Like have a show based on a bucnh of second deals, bottom deals, etc. Like some of steve forte's shows. How do you present yourself? Oh and have you ever cheated in a poker game?

Does doing gambling demonstrations take away the magic because people can understand that it's all sleight of hand? How should these cheating techniques be presented to the audience? Do you do both at the same night or do you keep them separate so you are either a card mechanic or a magician?
