The classic rising card plot is among the most popular in magic. A card is chosen and lost in the center of the pack. Under impossible conditions, the selection slowly and steadily (and often times - visually) rises out from the middle of the deck.

There are just as many ways of accomplishing the Rising Card effect, as there are variations. In this week's edition of the 1-ON-1 SESSIONS, we will be taking a look at a few of our favorite tricks that utilize this premise - with recommendations hand selected by our team of artists.

: : SCHWING / / CHRIS KENNER / / EASY / / $4.95
The spectator's signed, selected card is placed in the center of the deck, then slowly - with ALL fingers visible - begins to rise out of the center. No gimmicks are used, and the effect can be done with any deck, anytime, anywhere.

: : RIOT / / DAN HAUSS / / EASY / / $14.95
Dan Hauss presents a visual miracle. A card is selected from the deck and signed. It is left outjogged in the middle of the pack. Slowly and visually, the signed card moves up through the deck, penetrating the remaining cards in a visual display entirely under your control at all times. Special thanks to Paul Harris.

: : SHIFTY / / CHRIS KENNER / / INTERMEDIATE / / $9.95
A signature effect by Chris Kenner-- never before released in video format. Cause one card to visually RISE to the top of the deck with no cover and no funny moves. 13 and a half minutes of detailed instruction.

SPECIAL PROMO : For those wishing to purchase all of the above, we've setup a special promotion. Order all three videos and receive a 20% discount - this week ONLY.

Be sure to check out our last 1-ON-1 SESSIONS - THE DAVID BLAINE SHOWCASE - and check back next Tuesday for another edition. See you then!
