Thomas Baxter Lecture!

Yesterday night, my local IBM ring had a lecture by Thomas Baxter, author of The Nail Writer Anthology. I just wanted to say that the lecture was extremely fun and wonderful. Thomas Baxter is known for his mentalism and psychological magic. We actually had a raffle for everyone who came to the lecture and the person who won got his new book. Funnily enough I won the book. I couldn't stay for the entire lecture because I sadly had school the next day, but during the time I was there, I learned quite a lot, from psychological ice breakers, to a PK touch system of his. It was very interesting, and I suggest that if anyone gets a chance to go to a lecture of his, don't think twice about it. Just go.

I have been reading the book all of today, and so far it is quite interesting. But one problem that I have right now is that the entire book is about the history, the use, and the proper technique of using nail writers (often referred to as the Swami Gimmick), and I have yet to even buy one. Could you guys please suggest on what would be good brands or good types to buy?

Thanks,
Rupayan

As far as NW go, you need to pick up a copy of 13 Steps, look at all the different types of Swamis, and work out which one is for you. Unfortunately, there's no substitute for simply physically working with each one and figuring out which one suits you. It's something that no-one else can decide for you.

Tom Baxter is lovely. Did he show you guys his A Card Merely Thought Of... work?
