Good question! I don't even own the effect but each of these moronic posts are getting me closer. Lesson: Don't be a moron...

I appreciate the humor, however I will be the party pooper and give a serious answer:
If you follow Wayne's directions, it really cannot get "stuck."
If it does get stuck, I would excuse yourself with a loud painstaking exclamation and pretend like something really did happen to you. This may freak out your audience(s) even more! Another thing you can do is to ask someone to call for help, while they do, use your magic and vanish.
Again, if you do it the proper way that Wayne teaches, and nothing else stupid, you will be perfectly fine.
