I live in Scotland and the shops don't have visine, is there any other brands I could use which won't cause adverse effects?

Yes. Any kind of eye lubricant will work. Anything that is for dry eyes, itchy eyes, etc.

Wayne realized that visine was not available to everyone after the release and mentioned this on one of his Websites Daily Video Updates.

same here in my country. In my case i asked a friend of mine who went to the states to buy me a small box of visine.. ( just to show how much I love the effect, thanks wayne!) but of course it took weeks before the visine arrived. because of the excitement to try out the geek method myself..I experimented with several eye drops available.. I found that those opthalmic drops used by people who wear contact lenses provides ample amount of lubrication for the geek method to be performed. but of course Visine is still the top choice. used it. and lovin it...
