when you push the card from the back and some cards pop out, as you execute tilt, put your finger underneath the cards that you pushed out. as you get the card to where it would keep pushing the cards out, extend your finger. It appears as if you are pushing the cards out as you push the card in more.

i was just messing around with it. pretty sure its not original, but i came up with it right here messing around (not as in the first to come up with it) and thought you guys would like it.

on Theory11.
I don't use the Marlo Tilt a whole lot, but I think I might start using it and messing around with that idea, thanks to you...
Thanks for the idea!

Guardian thats a great idea! I worked on the darn thing alot but yours is just simple and beutiful!

Gary Ouellet in his great book Close up Illusions has an idea to achieve that, but its kinda more complicated than yours.

Thanks! You solved a 2 year problem of mine. :)

A name? The Guardian Subletly perhaps? ;p

I suppose this move could indeed be original.

I read alot on the Tilt, didnt come across something similar, though I'm no way knowledgeable, maybe other members could provide an idea ..

I played with the idea a bit, a major disadvantage is that you need to get the cards protruding just enough to get the forefinger under the cards without exposing it to the spectator ( unless I'm not doing it right?)

The Gary Ouellet move I mentioned above, there is no finger movement so you don't need any cover, however, since it needs some setup, its not the easiest thing to get into.

Cheers,

Cheers,

all you need to do is tilt the deck down a little, pun not intended, and they wont see the finger.

youre finger should be right underneath teh cards, and unless you finger is completely dry, all you need is a LITTLE moisture and it works fine, lick your finger or whatever (not in performance, lol)

but all you need is to extednd youre finger and one or 2 cards should protrude, but to the audience its the same thing..

IF THIS IS ORIGINAL then i shall call this the Thomson Tilt Subtly

MAYBE T11 could see it as a 1-2 dollar ONE ON ONE!!!!

i was messing with it a little bit and i came up with a way to make the card/ cards protrude more.

dont have the pad of youre finger push them
have the SIDE of youre first finger on the bottom of the card, then extend, should make the card coming out a little easier

hope you guys like it

I like this idea. Can you make a video tutorial and post this in the media section?

if not then ill definettly do this as a tutorial.

it wont have flashy editing or anything, but youll leanr the damn thing, lol

Yup, looked great to me!

Me like alot. Though if you're marketing it, I advise against it, as marketing is a serious thing. Only market things you have much experience performing ( year and above ). Only then, ask yourself, would you buy it? If so, how much? and so forth.

However, in the future, you may want to submit it to one of the magic magazines. Even better, if you have a knowledgble cardman near you, you can show it to him and ask if its original or have been published before .. etc

Cheers mate, even though its a small idea, but its very neat.
