hey everyone... i would just like to get a bit more information on this effect. is it impromptu or gimmicked... and is the effect worth it to buy it?

It is not gimmicked however you do need something to make it work.

It is worth the money however I would never perform it as it is not really my thing.

The biggest draw back in your eyes will be that it is not really repeatable.
