What do you use? Magicians wax or flesh putty?

Hi there,

for levitation tricks what do you prefer, wax or putty?

Soft products, for example Jon Leclair's flesh putty,

or harder waxes? I've bought Yigal Mesika wax, but it's white, easy to see, and leaves a sticky mess :( And very heavy, I need something softer. What do you suggest?

Did anybody try Flesh Colored Putty by Michael Ammar?

I'm an old timer so I'm not very familiar with this flesh putty idea, I've used "sticky bee's wax" that can be purchased in crafts stores for cheap, in the form of small dots that you put into a candle holder before inserting the candle itself. This secures the candle so it stands straight and isn't as prone to falling out of the holder or wobble in cases where you are walking with the candle & holder.

I have likewise used top grade Mustache Wax (Firehouse Wax) and certain Chapstick type lip balms, gen a pinch of chewing gum when push comes to shove.

I think it wise to have as many options to your disposal as possible.

Craig, nice idea on the chapstick lip balm. This is definitely something I carry on me during the winter months here in ohio and could use that for sure. Much appreciated.
