Ok, here is an idea a came up with based off a really old move, the snap change. Probably not original, but i thought of the idea on my own.

The effect was written up in the march 2000 issue of magic magazine
called quick cache by shintaro fujiyama. if you are able to get
a back issue i would say get it. he has a lot of great tips on how
to make it look very smooth and very visual.
