You little stalker!
Well my birthday is coming up in about 2 weeks and i'm stuck on what to ask for. I've decided to ask for a magic-related item (I was gonna get an iTouch but it seems kinda pointless lately). So here's what are in my wanted list:

Card Stunts (Greg Wilson)
Pyrotechnic Pasteboards (Greg Wilson)
By Forces Unseen (Ernest Earick)
The Paper Engine (Aaron Fisher)
Roadrunner Cull (Kostya Kimlat)

Now I've been doing magic for 7 months so my skill is beginner-intermediate. So i can only get one, and i just need to know which one will i benefit the most from. Also, if you have any other suggestions on good DVD's/books/pdf's please tell me and i'll look into it. Thanks!

By Forces Unseen isnt something you should go for after 7 Months.

Paper Engine is great lots of usefull info how to use gravity on sleights and so on it has sleights and tricks so i think its a good choice

Yes and Smooth Operations would be good as well 60 pages of tricks flourishy stuff and some sleights

Yea, i was beginning to question By Forces Unseen cuz i've heard it uses alot of palms, which my hands are too small for.

I thought the Paper Engine would have a lot of advanced sleights, at least that's what i've been hearing from other people.

Smooth Operations i already have (and yea, its awesome).

Paper Engine seems the best for a 7 month person.
Greg Wilson's things are more intermediate and not as much material as a book.

There isn't a lot of palming in BFU at all, there is a little but it's all covered.

Small hands = small confidence in ability to palm = bad palming & excuses :p I have small hands too, but (and touch wood) as of yet, I've not been called out on it. :)

The Paper Engine has intermediate sleights, it's a book focused on Design, Tension and Focus in Card Magic. It has fantastic advice and tips and whilst the moves and effects may not be the most knuckle-busting mo'fo's out there in the Magic Kingdom, they are still beautiful pieces of card magic. :)

So is it better than the Roadrunner Cull for me? Cuz that seems pretty useful too.

Depends what you want, if you want a culling technique that you can use, go with the Roadrunner... I don't own it so I can't comment on it.

If you want some general sleights and magic to use, go with one of the others.

At the end of the day, we can't decide what's best for you, it's what you want to get out of your magic, not what you think we want to see with your magic.
