Does anyone know of any good torn and restored card routines. I usually try too stay away from tricks that include permanently destroying a card so are there any routines that don't get the card torn in the first place. Or maybe you only have to destroy or or two cards. I know the key to a good trick is sacrifice but is there such a things as torn and restored that don't actually tear?

Daniel Garcia's "Torn too" might be something to look into, once you setup the gimmick you don't really need to destroy much else. That being said, its not my fav looking Torn and restored card, if you want to do a piece by piece your going to have to tear something. Danny's "Torn" is pretty good. If you feel like dedicating the years of time it will take to master, learn Reformation by Guy Hollisgnsworth, its a beautiful effect if done right.

Jordan Johnson actually has a great looking TnR called "The Holy Grail" It does require a gimmick but the tearing and restoring only uses one card, its pretty clever. Although the setup is a bit extensive.

Hope this help point you in a direction you might want to follow.

ReinCardnation by Kris Nevling is a torn and restored card that only uses one card, if that's what you're looking for.

Torn by Daniel Garcia is probably the best tnr I've come across and use on a regular basis. It's a piece-by-piece restoration and is a great effect.

Torn Too also by DG is a torn and restored corner, once set-up you do not to destroy much.

Holy Grail by Jordan Johnson is a great tnr using only one card, but as said before set-up is a hassle.

d+M has an awesome one called Transtorn. It's a torn/restored/transposed card. In his book Collateral. Well worth it. Can be used effectively with $ too. Good reactions when you tear, restore, and transpose signatures on a borrowed bill. This does ruin cards though, meant to be giveaways at the end.
