Where to Get a Close-Up Case!

I've been doing magic for quite a while now, and I want to start doing gigs and shows. I do close up and parlor magic. I've been trying to find a good case to put my stuff in, but for some reason it's really hard for me. When I do find a good one online, it's always out of stock. Where can I find a good quality and cheap case to put my stuff in for shows and gigs? Thanks!

For close-up I don't use a case at all. In my formal show I use a single deck of cards and for walk around everything fits in my pockets.

For stand up I use an old fashioned suitcase on a chair or TV table.

Check out tool boxes at your local Home Depot to Lowes. I picked up an aluminum briefcase style box there a couple of years ago. You can also find aluminum hard cases on Amazon like THIS. I also have used an old hard side leather briefcase. You can also search online for ATA cases which are larger. @RickEverhart has a really high end set up for his kids shows.

If you want to use the case during a show, it is pretty easy to build a luggage stand like they have in hotels (two side pieces crossed on each side with strapping across the top) but a little taller.

For transport you may also want to look into photographer's cases. They often have this foam that's really easy to customize pockets with (it's like blocks that can be moved around to fit different gear).

For performances it's going to come down to your performance style. I use an old-looking wood box currently, but I plan to make a new one. I do bizarre magic, so anything on stage has to fit that aesthetic.

I get cases at Walmart. They are called Vaultz. They have several sizes. You can go to the medication area to find cases that are used for Diabetes. You can find bigger cases in the office section. I use a combination of both. I have a bigger case where I can toss stuff in quickly. I can use the smaller ones to pack tight. They hold 2 decks of cards, markers, rope and pretty much anything else you might want for walk-around. I prefer the bigger box though so at the end of a gig I can put everything in the case quickly and reorganize when I get home.
