Magic Tricks

MiRAGE by Alex Geiser

With just a slow wave, one coin visually vanishes. Your hands never touch.

It happens slowly, just like real magic. There are no gimmicks, magnets, or wires. No setup. Just one coin.

Mirage isn’t just a coin vanish. You can vanish virtually any small object with just the wave of your hand. If you wanted a vanish to look like real magic, this is it. Learn multiple, practical methods of restoring the object back to reality.

It's not just a coin vanish - Alex shares principals of his philosophy that can be used to enhance ANY kind of magic. Slow. Delicate. Natural.

Mirage has been one of Alex's signature coin vanishes that he's kept to himself for many years. He's now ready to let you in on the secret, and guide you through each step of the learning process.

Learn several appearances to make the coin re-emerge after the vanish. As a BONUS, learn the Lynel Vanish – a coin vanish from the tip of your finger.

Featuring detailed, intricate explanation over 61 minutes of instruction by Alex Geiser. Now available as a DVD or Instant Download. Learn it now!

Amazing. It's my favorite coin vanish and also can be used as a perfect end for Homer Liwag's coinONE. This is worth your money.

Oh this trick is brilliant. I love it. I was so confident after 5 minutes of watching the video that I went out and performed it. Alex makes it so easy to learn. I recommend this to everyone.

This is possibly one of the best DVD purchases I have ever made. Mirage is amazingly impromptu and visual. Just listening to what Alex Geiser has to say about magic and performance adds so much more value to this DVD than just the beauty of this effect. His insight on the value of performance is simply eye opening. you are only cheating yourself by not investing in this.

Alex is one of my favorite coin magicians, and there are only a few. For those of you who don’t know Alex yet, you will…

Mirage was the first time in 5 years I've watched an entire magic DVD all the way though. If you love technique, creativity, and philosophy in magic, I highly recommend this.

Mirage should not be a $20 dvd. It should sell for no less than $100. Probably much much more.

Brilliance is an understatement! The beauty in this effect is the economy of motion in the vanish. There isn't a non-gimmick vanish that I have seen that gets more fair that this: open hands with no telegraphing moves.

Even if you have zero interest in coin work, it's worth getting simply for Alex Geiser's theory on performance pacing. His advice and wisdom is worth twice of what the download costs. An absolute gem of a vanish and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing more from Alex.

I have been reading a lot of questions about this download on the forums about this product so I would like to clear a few things up.

Yes, this is expensive, considering it is for only 2 moves( if you include the bonus vanish) but oh boy does Geiser go into detail when explaining Mirage. Although you're not left completely clean, Alex does explain a method in which both hands can be shown completely empty and then visually reproduce the coin. The vanish is also pretty easy to do, and I am no coin expert at all, I am just starting out with coins in fact. The move is relatively angle sensitive but the angles can be overcome easily and Alex explains methods in doing so. Also the bonus vanish is stunning but is possibly the most angle sensitive move I have ever ever seen (it does also contain a reproduction) and can only be performed at one angle and to one person (Alex says he has done it to 3 people but I seriously can't see how).

So overall if you are looking for something powerful and impromptu to do with a coin then buy it, although it is a pricey product I do actually think It was worth the money.

Nice and beautiful trick, but you have to be careful with your angles.

Simple, clean, and beautiful. Watching Alex perform this in person for the first time was absolutely amazing. It's not just the effect or the method - it's HOW he performs it that makes it look so damn good.
