Brilliant, sexy effect. Totally visual and mind boggling with an amazing audience response. Buy this trick and become a hit at every party. Worth every penny, though I wouldn't recommend it for beginners who have just started. Best visual card illusion.

Great and fun to perform!
Jared Loi • Malaysia • 04/04/13
Transcode is definitely an effect that you'll wanna get. Trust me!

Once again Mr. Bich has done it. I see people saying that it is not practical in real life, but I have used this effect several times and the "impractical part' is using this effect without paying attention to angles. Once you spend some time working on the grips and the angles, it works wonders and truly creates magic for your audience. If you want well planned and very visual magic, this is priced quite well and will not let you down.

This is brilliant but I was disappointed with jump. This reaffirmed my faith in Mathieu. Good job but a little overpriced.
Anthony • Canada • 03/11/13
A moment of pure old fashioned awe. Very nice.
DK • Australia • 02/12/13
Nice effect that can be used to break up a routine. Surprisingly, it has great comedic value as well as being a very powerful effect.
Xabi • DSS • 01/27/13
Nice, little effect. The color changing card is visual and stunning, while the deck change fools every single layman. However, even if the effect looks great on camera, it's not practical in real life. That's the only downside of this. Great job, Mr. Bich!

This trick is absolutely amazing! The gimmicks are easy to make and it is a smart design! The angles may become awkward if your audience is seated below you but other than that, this effect is outstanding!!

I am quickly becoming a big fan of Mathieu Bich! Transcode is my second purchase of his and it's definitely not a disappointment. I love how easy and simple the gimmick is to make! I tend to steer clear of gimmick tricks due to the time and effort in preparing them. This one, however, is very simple and easy to make! In performing this trick I have run into some handling errors that I might of benefited from IF they were talked about in the video. However, those are minor points. That's the only negative point I can make and that's after trying to think of one. In my opinion this is a steal for the price!
A great great effect and a must have!
Shea • USA • 01/15/13
Very good trick and wonderful on the gimmick. But I will say you have to be a little clever to ditch the gimmick if you want the deck to be examinable.
Still I really like this trick and am happy with my purchase.
Tom • Glasgow • 01/10/13
Very visual and easy to do effect. Gimmick is easy to make and you end clean! Spectators will be stunned but, this trick isnt brilliant for angles, but still a great effect.
Duncan • Canada • 01/09/13
Terrific trick! I recently purchased this trick and just like the rest of Mathieu Bich's work, it is ingenious!
However, even though the effect is magnificent, its not very practical. The spectators I have performed this to have been impressed and amused, but they haven't had a very big reaction.
That being said, it is worth buying the trick to see how Mathieu Bich's mind works and to see how much of a creative genius he truly is.
Its easy to make and fairly easy to perform, Buy it! You won't be disappointed!

Really simple and really visual. Definitely a trick that will get a reaction.
Chris • USA • 12/09/12
Short and awesome effect. I haven't spend so much time to figure it out. For this easy trick, it's definitely not worth $6.95.
Skipper • USA • 12/07/12
Very simple to do. It's quite cool, but a bit overpriced.
Gavin • USA • 12/02/12
The best, yet simplest card trick I know!
Ariel • Chicago • 11/25/12
Amazing effect! Requires some set ups, but otherwise simply amazing.
Antonio • Canada • 11/10/12
I loved the color change and the visuals in this effect. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is definitely worth the $6.95. In my opinion it isn't exactly very easy but with just enough practice it will turn out beautifully.
Revilo • London • 10/31/12
What a beautiful routine! Very simple, yet it completely baffled me. Takes a couple of minutes to make and learn - but then, it's part of your repertoire!
Ricardo • Mexico • 10/28/12
This guy is a genius.
Isaiah Cuzzupe • Victoria • 10/18/12
This is an amazing and easy effect. It should be rated easy. BUY IT NOW!!!!!
Wei • NYC • 10/17/12
I absolutely love this type of color change. There was a Japanese version of the same effect for about $25, this is a steal.
Brian • Maryland • 10/14/12
This has become my favorite trick to perform. The reactions I get from this are very amusing and it is so comfortably easy to perform. Mathieu, you are a genius.
Daryl Chew • Singapore • 10/11/12
The gimmick is super easy to use and make. You will be performing it within a few hours.
Josh • Arizona • 09/26/12
This is an amazing effect! The gimmick is almost as fun as doing the trick itself!
Al • NJ • 09/26/12
This completely fooled my guts, until I bought it. Kudos to you, Mr. Bich!
Cheryl • Singapore • 09/25/12
The gimmick is easy to make and allows for such an ultra visual effect. However, the problem is cleaning up, which would be somewhat challenging in the effect.
Jeffrey • USA • 09/25/12
Extemely visual trick. It is a little annoying to make the gimmick, but worth it.
Bryce Huckabay • California • 09/25/12
Mathieu Bich is one of the greatest minds in magic! This is an amazing creation!
Jin • Singapore • 09/22/12
Uses a gimmick but it is easy to construct. The effect is just so powerful and the gimmick can be used with a couple of different tricks.
Guo Sheng • Ann Arbor • 08/18/12
Amazing effect. Very visual. One should be able to master it in an hour.
Levatikyn • Right Here • 08/18/12
You will slap yourself in the face and ask, "Why didn't I think of that?!" But you will never guess the method. It is so simple, yet complex.
I am using this utility, as of now, in my Best Card Trick routine. Mathieu is a genius.
Stefan • Bulgaria • 07/10/12
This is what I call real magic.
JaLin • Melbourne • 07/06/12
One word: Clever. It's a must get!
Brendan • Burnaby, BC, Canada • 07/03/12
I MUST LEARN THIS!
Mitchell • Earth, Milky Way, Cosmos • 06/22/12
Bought it just a few minutes ago and I am blown away by the simplicity of this amazing trick. This doesn't need to be used as a colour change for the back of the deck. You can make the gimmick upside-down and you have a cool, magical colour change to the face of the pack.
Great job Mathieu! Truc incroyable!
Jonathan Orr • Southlake, TX • 06/20/12
Great trick! The gimmick is really easy to make and the trick is really easy to learn. Like the other comments say, it should be an opener rather than a standalone trick, but its still a great trick.
Joshua • Stamford, CT • 06/13/12
Like a lot of tricks, I thought this one was gonna be a knock off stupid gimmick trick. But to my surprise, this was one of the best gimmicks I have ever made. Ever.
Mr. Bich goes into detailed instruction on how to construct the gimmick, and making the gimmick is almost as fun as performing the trick. As far as this goes, one of the best downloads I have EVER got from theory11. Good job guys, LOVE the trick! 5/5
Daniel King • England • 06/11/12
This is an amazing effect that I think all beginner magicians should have!!
Connar Lorimer • Idaho • 06/08/12
Holy crap!!! My whole body had a cold shivery feeling that went down my spine then my legs. Loved it.
Filip Sichman • Czech Republic • 06/03/12
I saw Mathieu on Fool us, he did a great job there. When I saw that there is something from him available - I bought it. This truly is an amazing effect. It is simple in principle, but requires some practice so that no one will notice how it's done. But as someone mentioned, you probably need to do it as a standalone trick or as an opener. You can do the clean up with a move taught by Shawn Farquhar. You will just need some small misdirection. If you want a truly amazing effect where the card is changed visually whilst moving, buy this.
Egor • Russia • 05/26/12
Oh my God. This is awesome! Mathieu did his best explaining this effect and a nice routine as well. MUST buy. (and learn of course!)
Anthony Fox • New York, NY • 05/19/12
Beautiful effect! Just purchased and downloaded - brilliant. I love the way Mathieu Bich's mind works. Simple, and extremely visual. LEARN IT!
MagicMan • USA • 05/19/12
This is a great trick with a really simple gimmick, but it will be hard to fit into a routine. If you plan on using the deck change, this should probably be an intro because it will be hard to set up for the trick in the middle of a performance. Additionally, I found the cleanup not to be very clean. It takes more misdirection than most tricks to clean up well, even for the single card change. Nonetheless, the effect is worth it for the price!
Kai Cheng • Taiwan • 05/19/12
Very visual effect - and the gimmick is quite easy to make.
Daniel Sipprelle • California • 05/19/12
Mathieu Bich is on a hot streak. All of the effects he's been releasing are top of the line and very practical, and this is no different. Great mind blowing trick with an amazing 2nd phase.
Jackson Li • Belize • 05/18/12
This is truly an AMAZING effect, Mathieu. This is a full one card one deck change! This is one of the finest and most mind-blowing effects I've ever seen!
leonardo • london • 05/18/12
This is quite simply a truly amazing effect. It's the most visual color change I have ever come across.
Jay Grill • Illinois • 05/18/12
With an old concept being updated by Mathieu, I am sure with his style of thinking, he has made a practical version as well as added his own finesse on this effect!
