theory11 — Magic Tricks & the World's Finest Playing Cards

Oz Pearlman's Triumph

i bought it awhile back. it takes a little time to remember all the steps(there's a lot) but it's the triumph i use all the time. and you can show the cards going in opposite ways by riffling the edges which is a nice convincer. if you need a triumph routine, get it. you will use it.
hope that helps,

cardclip, you are thinking of emerge triumphant, this is a whole dvd about triumph, but emerge triumphant is on the dvd.

actually i was thinking about the older, basic triumph. not e.t. his teaching is great though and the dvd looks like it has some good stuff in it.

Unfortunately, I'm not all that impressed. It just seems to be a refurbished version of Guy Hollingworth's Le Arc de Triomph from Drawing Room Deceptions. It's not anything new. I recommend either checking out Guy Hollingworth's book or Eric Anderson and David Harkey's book called Ah-Ha! The shuffle is Eric Anderson's and in my opinion, it's one of the most versatile in-hands false shuffle I've seen. I use it everyday. I think you'd get more value for your money if you get the sources I mentioned above.

RS.

True, but if you want a resource for several triumph routines this is the best thing out there.

Joshua Jay also has two dvd's specifically for the Triumph routine, with alot of ideas. He mentions it's one of his favorite pieces of magic.
