Yeah, I thought it would be a good idea too, It's been sitting there for awhile with no posts but I have more time now, and I think it's still a good idea. As for the unorganized part, it's more of an information buffet, you can discuss things, read things, and it's a lot like twitter in that you can @reply people so you can stay in a certain conversation when you want to discuss a particular subject.
