I suppouse you are asking for Guardians 1st edition and 2nd edition...
1st edition is sold out.
2nd edition has quality improvements but is 2nd edition... overall are almost the same cards.

I've heard from various people that the second edition Guardians are in fact worse in comparison with the first edition. I ordered 3 of the second editions a couple of days ago, so it will be interesting what verdict I will come up with.
What are you guys' thoughts on the matter, would you say the second edition is better or worse than the previous batch?
Any help would be cool.

From what I've read the Second Editions are, in fact, an improvement over the First Editions. As stated in the news article, there is a evident difference in feeling, handling, et al. in the Second Editions from the First. But don't take my word for it, feel free to check out some reviews:
