Red and Blue Wynn Decks

I appreciates the effort Dan and Dave did to give us a chance to own the red and blue wynns. But I have doubts over the rationale of the pricing for these Wynns.

Previously, T11 told us that they were on the hunt for the brown wynns which was acclaimed to be the rare ones among the 3 colors. Now with the red and blue wynns are for sale, the prices for this seems to be higher than the rare ones. It doesn't make sense isn't it?

The way these red and blue Wynns are priced seems to reflect that the Twins are trying to make a quick profit from the current 'Wynn Hype' I hope Dan or Dave will come out and say something about it to clarify all doubts. Please do not treat us for suckers.

I'm trying to make a point that we shouldn't jump onto something immediately just because it is advertise as 'While Stock Lasts' or 'Rare' and pay a crazy price for it. (in short, we look like donkeys paying for everything that they've throw at us)

Please do not take offence at my post. I'm trying to bring across what it seems to be happening here. Totally my personal opinion. I totally respect the Buck Twins, the artists and the crew from T11, but just advising the consumers to sit down and consider the value of something before paying for it.

Regardless, they sell for even more on ebay so it's still a good deal. This IS the cheapest you can get these decks from anywhere else i've seen.

Gambler's General Store sells them for $2.99 per deck. THAT is the cheapest you can get. Unless of course, the Twins bought all of them.

Of course they are on the Wynn bandwagon, this is buisness. People want Wynns, Wynns are hot, they can charge anything and people would buy them. I'm sure the higher price also has to do with the fact T11 has a lot more money behind it than Dan and Dave do, so they need to turn profit faster in case they don't sell them all. If you have a problem with supply and demand, then you should probably go encase yourself in a little bubble and stay there forever. Magic is not a go happy playground that everyone seems to think it is, they sell products, we are consumers. I personally like products :D

if anyone in toronto wants to split a half and half brick, let me know.

Let me know how much this would be, and I might be in :)

I'd want both Dan and Dave to sign both colours (only 1 deck of each colour is enough)....so I can keep those for my collection :)

I'm confused though.....don't hate me for asking this which has probably been asked a million times, but ...... isn't the Wynn Casino still open? Don't they still produce cards? How are these decks selling for $6-7 online when you can probably get them direct from the casino for $1 or so each.....

--- EDIT ----

I just did the math, and after shipping it would be about $85 to deliver to Toronto.....which works out to about $7.10 a deck...which isn't worth it :(

I'd buy 1 or 2 decks, but I'm not dropping $40 for 6 decks....I can't afford that, nor do I think it's worth it. (just my opinion)

yeah, same here, that's why i wanted to split it.

Ideally i'd want 4 (2 of each colour - one to open, one to keep for later)

if we split it 3 ways, it's a little better. 4 each. any other takers?

Alas, you have baffled me. I seek an answer now.

Any clarifications?

Are all these decks from dananddave.com signed, or first edition, or more stiff or something?

Stop compaining guys. Once again you don't appreciate this nice offer. I don't care about the raritey, I just want to know if they handle good. I think the reason it costs a dollar more is because there shipping is cheaper then theory11. So pretty much buying a brick there is cheaper than buying brown wynns.

Also where can you find that place that sells them for 2.99?

I'm not sure.

Won't ship till Jan 2nd? Maybe Dan and Dave are signing every single deck they're selling from their site.

Well now I'm pissed off that I bought them already for 7 dollars a deck when I could have gotten them for three dollars. Anyone else buy them and feel duped?

Thats my fault I guess for just being over zealous and buying things on impulse.
Same. I'm really pissed right now. Oh well, my fault for having trust in them.

EDIT: But I'm waiting for something from the Bucks on this one. They've been nothing but fair and honest before, so there may be an explanation for this.

What I don't understand is why they ARE selling on ebay for $50.

You can go to ebay right now and find a $20 buyitnow for two wynns by ace-king.

I wouldn't want my cards signed. That just makes the value go down. I e-mailed them, so hopefully they can answer some of my questions.

You mean you bought them just to sell them later?

Here's something you all might have not thought of......

The Gamblers General Store is a lot bigger than Dan and Dave.....really, they are. With all the products they sell, versus what the Bucks sell on their site is pretty significant to say the least. Perhaps the GGS got a better deal on them because they bought more, therefore each deck is cheaper. They can afford to buy many more decks than the Bucks, thus pass the savings onto the customer.

Just my thoughts.......
Steve
