Pre-Release Monarchs uncut sheets - details for the lore?

Hi @CaseyRudd and @j.bayme ,

As you probably know, the The True Story of the Pre-Release Monarchs thread is pretty legendary among Monarchs collectors

With the recent release of the uncut sheets, I think it would be great to hear a bit more about how they fit into that story (as someone lucky enough to own both a pre-release deck and a sheet, I’m especially curious!). Since “ALL of the original decks, minus those 144 handmade samples, will be destroyed,” how exactly did these sheets come into your possession? Were they sent to you by USPCC at the same time as the original decks? Or did they arrive later in larger quantities? Did you find them now and decided to sell the whole lot?

I think a few extra details like this would really add to the Monarchs lore eheh

The uncut sheets came into my possession later in a limited batch, not at the same time as the original pre-release decks. I’ve kept them since and decided to sell them now with the recent interest.

That’s really interesting! Could you clarify what you mean by “later” and how you obtained this “limited batch”? I thought they were only made available to the public with the recent release.
