First/Second Edition Guardians?

How do I tell the difference between first/second edition guardians? Because I got it from someone else, they're probably seconds, but they feel so ugly, that's what people are saying about the firsts.

Is it possible that I broke into first editions?

Check the bottom of the box, if the ring around the "11" is orange you've got 1sts, if it's yellow, you've got 2nds

I believe that the bar code is white on 2nd editions while 1st are grey or vice versa.

It's definitely more orange than yellow.... Barcode's grey.

ah... Never mind then. But still, I would like to know. I heard that the Second Ed, the top diagonal part of the "1" on the bottom logo is longer on second ed. Mine are pretty long, so, at the moment, I'm hoping they're seconds.
