Bees are nice, but they don't have a white border which really makes false counting, reverses, and other sleights extremely hard.

And why shouldnt he look up tutorials on youtube? If the guys wants that, or someone else, let him. Whats wrong with it, sometimes they can actually teach you some decent stuff, dont get me wrong, im not searching for them, but if others are... please.

Stay away from bogus sites. Anything offering "free magic tricks exposed" or "magic tricks revealed" is likely to be garbage. Aside from that, it is seen as being highly unethical in the magic community. Did I mention the tricks on these sites are complete garbage?

I think this automatically goes for tutorials too. The only tutorials I think are good are tutorials for original flourishes. These can bring up new concepts and this will help the art grow.

I did read it and I wasn't commenting anything about it. I was commenting on your view on free tutorials (that's why I quoted that particular post).

Sorry for the offtopic but I have to make this clear because I'm not a native English speaker and my posts seem to produce some confusion.

Let's fix that, shall we =)

I never really liked Bees. I didn't find their finish or stock to hold up to my normal Bikes (even if they're actually the same, somehow they feel...different). They also make false counts and displays very hard (there seem to be some with borders somewhere out on the interweb, but not in any store I've ever been in),

Hes saying its ok to watch youtube tutorials.

I think that he knew what he meant. It was more a rhetorical question, like "What the #@$%&@#$#@$%&@#$?," to portray his disagreement. (Or, he was so flabbergasted at the statement that he failed to think coherently. :D)

I never really liked Bees.

I don't like Bees either -- I'm scared of insects, Entomophobia, and the orientation of the back of the cards makes me dizzy. :(

Cheers,
JTM

Yeah, does anyone else find that looking at the back of a Bee fan creates quite an odd optical effect?

I really like Bee cards for gambling demonstrations. The lack of border means you've got a bit of a margin for error with double push-offs and sleights like that, and the quality is really good. I've got a deck of Bees that hasn't left my pocket (in a Porper card clip) for about a year, and they're still handling fine.
