    Go.Out.Perform.

It's great to see that you are still performing man :) Okays, let's start, for starters, the trick was flawlesly performed in my opinion, it looks like you have practiced it a lot (including your patter) until the point of perfection, that's great man :). The thing is, that there is a problem...

    Go.Out.Perform.

HAHAHAHAHA I only have one word to say for this video: PWNAGE! That it's all. Thank you. Nah, in all seriousness, the lady was semi heckling you bro! and you took it with a smile (wich is great btw), you didn't flinched and even when everybody was reacting to the trick except her, well Im...

ok - this abuse needs to end.

Just a quick note about PUA: You can't make assumptions about something that you do not actually know about, People do not become "pua", it just enhances their lifes.

Social Skills + Hecklers can be avoided

Just to add something quick, the whole idea of a performance (In my opinion ) is that you have to perform under your terms and rules, if you lower yourself to start playing the heckler's game, you are lowering yourself and then you are performing under THEIR rules of game.

Social Skills + Hecklers can be avoided

Regarding Randy and Kashbey: Yeah, There are actually sometimes when they are just plain A-holes, I mean, I'm going to be as nice as I can, but if they keep pushing it, I'll just stop and be "You know what? you are not enjoying this, I'll stop now" with a really serious face, Im going to let...

Social Skills + Hecklers can be avoided

The problem that I have making the heckler feel "bad" is that you are making an enemy for future performances, either he is going to heckle you again (and even worse than before) or he will start talking S##t about you. It's social relations, all over again :)

Social Skills + Hecklers can be avoided

The thing is, that you can actually make them believers way before performing anything of your stuff, the performance starts the momment you walk through the door, not the minute you take out your cards ;).

Social Skills + Hecklers can be avoided

Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted something, and I remember a thread not so long ago talking about how having a heckler "sux" , so I would like to speak a little bit about how to avoid them, and in a worst case escenario, handle them. Beware, it might be a long read :) IDENTIFY...

How do you deal with a cynical jack***....?

What I meant about "how he wrote his post" is that if he lets little things like this to bother him and get the best of him against spectators (getting the need to humiliate them or making them look bad), he is going to get into more troubles rather than avoiding them :).

How do you deal with a cynical jack***....?

First of all, stop all the swearing and treat EVERY spectator with respect. With that aside, People like this are all around the world, is not that they want to own you ( haha ), the thing is that they want to be in the spotlight, they are envious that you are the center of attention at that...

    Picking up girls with magic?

Maybe I can add something to the conversation :) *Keep any talent that you have "misterious" don't let them know too much about you, or why do you do magic. You need to learn how to make them believe that behind that talent or the way you are, something "misterious" (not known to a lot of...

    Dealing with Skeptics.

I can't recommend any good books on starting comedy, But I can suggest some teachers and courses of PUA stuff (Pic up artist) things that has helped me a lot. I doesn't only teaches you to pick up women, It shows you how to take attributes from yourself and making them work the best for you...

    Dealing with Skeptics.

Play it using their ego as your platform to perform :). Don't do the tricks sayiing that they are "Magical" or stuff like that, maybe start using CardSharks as a explanation to what you are doing and for your patter, (even if you aren't doing card shark stuff). I have two different routines for...

Thanks a lot man, really I appreciate it :) Yeah sure! The idea is that everybody gives their critiques, but alas, I for one commit myself to give a good look and honest critique to whtever video is posted here :)

    Go.Out.Perform.

It was made some time ago, people posted their videos of them performing magic, along with some descriptions on the people and the effects performed to give a more precise critic on the video. This group was made to grow as live performers, sharing performances and criticquing others as well...

    Where to learn..

I would like to add that if you already know the mechanics to both moves, there isn't going to be a special "finger placement" or magical way of getting them learned fast. It is all practice. P.S Also just a tip on the top shot, learn how to shot the card first, practice that, then after you...
