    Table hopping close up magic

By the sound of it you already have enough material to meet your needs and still keep you busy for a couple of years. I would recommend against the temptation to buy more stuff because you're going to get information overload.

No way to say this without sounding like a smartass, but it looks like you already did.

Should theory11 Do This Again? Member Mashup?

Call me a snob, but I'm not exactly a fan of magic in montage format. It might be nice for a brief moment of vanity, but between the MTV-style cutting and the generic electronic music the original video just felt really underwhelming. Even the really good ones never got a chance to shine...

    An effect by Dynamo

You mean there are things in this world that aren't for sale or at least available on torrent sites? That's stupid! The world was made to serve us, and we demand the ability to rip off other performers' material immediately, damnit! Now, if one were truly interested in learning something...

David Blaine Real or Magic Discussion.

The thing about an influence is that it goes deeper than just the surface elements. I'm learning to sing and write my own music as well. Elvis Presley is only one of my influences, but it's more than just crooning out Heartbreak Hotel note for note. Mainly it taught me the importance of...

    Magic effects and copy right

I've actually theorized that one possible outcome is that the DVD market is going to shrink. We're going to see more and more material either ripped off, poorly designed, or just plain made on the cheap. More crap is going to flood the market. The really good stuff is going to be harder to...

tricks that look like real magic ( super power)

Seriously? That's the way we're going to do things? Fine. I'm twenty-nine. There, I answered your question, now answer my much better one. What books do you own?

This was the point you didn't want to explain earlier? Christ... As has been said before dude, odds are you'll have to invent your own method from whole cloth because it's probable that a lot of that material is not commercially available nor will it be in the foreseeable future.

    Magic effects and copy right

I think that's really indicative of an entitlement complex. Or at the very least youthful naivete and belief in their own invulnerability. Nothing unusual about a teenager being a whiny, self-entitled egomaniac unfortunately. I've stopped posting my routines online unless I've stopped using...

    muscle pass

Dude, the muscle pass is not easy. How much coin magic do you already know? Because if you don't have your fundamentals down, the muscle pass will end up being a cheap gimmicky move that you use only rarely and people will probably suspect you of having a gimmicked coin anyway.

Not so much a difference of opinion as not liking getting brushed off when I want a point to be clarified. If I missed the point as he claims, then perhaps he could explain the point to me. But apparently he believes that's none of my business.

tricks that look like real magic ( super power)

Okay, I tried being nice and in response I get a whole bunch of words, only three punctuation marks, and nothing even vaguely resembling an answer to my question. Kid, please stop trying to convince me how skilled you are. I don't react well to people trying to bull**** me. Now please...

tricks that look like real magic ( super power)

Dude, this is getting a little tedious. Every post I see from you is asking for more tricks or asking to routine something for you or some variation on the two. I'm not even sure you have your fundamentals down. Do you own a copy of Mark Wilson's Complete Course? Or any books for that matter?

    The invisible deck is dead?

Or even lie during the setup in order to throw them off the scent. Lots of magicians and mentalists have used this. Kenton Knepper, Luke Jermay, Rick Maue, Docc Hilford... There's a certain book in which the performer point blank says that he's not going to use a certain gimmick that's been...

    The invisible deck is dead?

I was not aware that one could kill an inanimate object. Drollery aside, it's just a matter of being a better performer, writer and showman than Dynamo. Which should not be that difficult to pull off if we're being honest. The stock presentation of the ID was fresher in the 70's, but we're...

Six month's of practice paid off

I'm going to disagree with that. As Tokyo pointed out, the turn was a tell that you were doing something you didn't want us to see. Beyond that, the reveal was pretty awful. You reveal the card and instantly begin spinning it, giving us absolutely no chance to process what just happened or...

    A renaissance of cardistry

At least until they watch Grave of the Fireflies. Then they'll know what a downer is. That right there is the mistake a lot of new guys make. Value is relative and you have to learn how to talk to people and offer them a value that they can get their heads around. It's not always easy. A...
