    Ellusionist Holiday Giveaway

RK, This is the theory11 forums, not the ellusionist forums, so discussion on matters of that nature should be directed to them. I should add that OUR holiday contest, complete with FOUR new releases, will be announced in the coming days. Stay tuned, it is more than worth the wait. ;)

    Need bulk Riderbacks. Where to?

We offer standard Bicycle decks for a damn good price, if I do say so myself! In NYC, most stores carry them for double the price we sell for on site.

    Bicycle Vintage

Try turning them around (face up instead of face down, leading with the opposite edge). This is briefly mentioned by Homer in the Faro Shuffle instructional vid, but almost all USPCC cards are cut either face up, or face down. The direction of that cut will determine how the cards will Faro...

    Bicycle Vintage

Creepy, Which decks are you referring to? If you're referring to their Vintage line of decks with original artwork from 100+ years ago, then they look very nice and feel great. In fact, these are Steve Cohen's favorite cards and the only ones he uses in his shows.

Kiddie Section of Theory11, and Stage Magic Update

Let's take a step back for a moment. Every single person reading this - whether it was last year, last month, or 20 years ago - was once a beginner. A super noob! Every single one of us started out as a "noob." If we dismiss those that are just starting in magic, we discount and dim the horizon...

    Happy Halloween!

Felt the need to step in here and remind everyone that this is a forum that requires respectful, professional discourse to participate. I removed a few posts earlier in this thread as I found them disrespectful to some of our members and unnecessary topics for a magic forum. This forum is made...

Saturday Night Contest - Trick with a Treat

Other objects could be incorporated as long as candy is used at some point in the routine. For an examine, changing a Bic pen into a Hershey's bar, changing quarters into a Starburst, etc. As long as it uses candy in some way, it's fair game.

Saturday Night Contest - Trick with a Treat

Tons of possibilities here. If you're having trouble creating a new effect specifically with candy, try thinking of an effect with ANOTHER object that you can substitute candy in for. By changing the object, you can change the effect - and create something pretty sweet (pun intended).

    Private Reserves?

We keep private reserves in our warehouse for rare items that we no longer can or wish to publicly list for sale. A few examples of these are White Centurions, Brown Wynn's, and small quantities of all previous playing card releases dating back to our first. This supply is primarily for use...

    The Wire!

This is still something that we are actively working on, but until we have further details, we don't want to post any additional information yet. As soon as we are ready to reveal what's behind that curtain, we will make sure everyone knows! Until then, stay tuned.

    Brown Wynns

The brown Wynn's have an entirely different feel and finish than the red and blue - they fan well and are very well made. Of the three colors, they are by far the most rare. theory11 maintains a limited reserve of the decks in our warehouse, but true to our word, we have no plans to ever offer...

    Saturday Night Contest - {member+mashup} 2010

This video will take a little bit longer to complete as we have five other videos in the post production process at the moment. Rest assured that it is actively being edited as we speak and we are expecting to have it complete by this coming weekend.

    Do You Agree?

Once you get into a habit of practicing, it can be very calming. Oftentimes I find people asking me "what's that riffling noise" when talking on the phone - and I have to say "sorry, I'm playing with cards." It's out of habit and helps me think. It's rare to see Chris Kenner without a deck in...

    The Direction of this Community

This is a great and inspiring shift. It's important to remember that this community is large and made up of members of all ages and ability levels. While it's easy to dismiss a beginner post as NOOB, it's important to remember that a very short time ago, we all were in that position. We all...
