Drunk flourishing is usually fine, not performing it though. Although last friday several tallies and some San miguel got mixed up, they feel all funny now :P Generally don't take cards out if I'm having a heavy night though, magic while drunk would not be fun. Not the right atmosphere...

If you are new to flourishing seriously check out decknique or just youtube there are a lot of good tutorials for interesting flourishes out there. I never got extreme begininers, just learnt a few cuts then got motion, worked fine, imo. But then again I'm not much for one handed cuts, fans and...

I'm sorry to say that I don't think people are seeking the 'moment of astonishment' or a 'memory to keep forever'. It's just one interesting thing that's presented to them. A way of being entertained for one period of time. I'm knackered, probably made no sense. Two cents :P

I'd check out some flourishes on youtube before you make the decision, I'm into cuts, I'd recomend some of Kevin Ho's tutorials and Alan Hagen's rotation cut. and the pivot cut if you don't know it already... I think I mean pivot... or swivel. But basically see how you get on, then try to...

Yeah, gonna take months for me to get the speed up. Turnover is awesome, on it's own or as part of a flourish. Haha, aries looks awesome, but the fingers definately feel weird at first...

The sybil ones are so good, well constructed. Cool, how're you finding turnover? Tried Downfall yet? I've had the DVD a while. I do most of them actually-not diabolique, cylinder, Lx, Tr2 or aries. But the rest. I do sleepless but not as a production, end it with a lil flip thing instead...
