If I'm being honest, the majority of my flourishes come from the "Everythingelse" DVD on the Trilogy. And most of Tudor's one-handed stuff. And some stuff from the System. And the Carnahan Fan.

I hesitate to say this since I want to be the only person to own this book, but get "Zarrow: A Lifetime of Magic." You know you want to. Also, I'd put the "Classic Magic of Larry Jennings" onto the list twice or three times. It's just that good.

The Truffle Shuffle is great for stand up situations, but I'm not sure that it's best for a table setting. I'd recommend this--it's a great move, I just don't use it.

You raise a good point, however, the technique of a Zarrow shuffle versus that of a push-through is inherently different in how it is presented to the audience. The Zarrow shuffle uses a natural cover action to mask the move, whereas the push-through required a cut of the cards. I personally...

Are you kidding? I may not use the move, but England does it pretty damn well if you ask me...he ought to, seeing as he's one of the world's top card guys.

Well, that's your opinion, but if I'm in a game or doing magic, all of my movements need to look the same so as not to arouse suspicion. Those people doing the variety of false shuffles, I believe, are wasting their time. I'd rather have one very deceptive false shuffle than a bunch of ones...

I am of the humble opinion that one needs to have one and only one false shuffle that they do, for consistency of action. I happen to do a Zarrow shuffle, so I'll probably pass this one up, but it looks great. It's probably worth it just for the up-the-ladder, but I do that already anyway.

On one hand, I think that it would be really cool to get a different perspective on the move from one of the artists here. On the other hand, seriously, people can just download the Erdnase PDF for free. That's enough magic for a few lifetimes.

This is a great utility. I honestly don't use stacks that much, but I've found that it really helps to have a good false shuffle, even if you're just retaining top stock or something.

Where is a good resource to learn to muck cards? Also, what is the best bottom deal to use? I'm working on a straight-up Erdnase bottom deal, but you mentioned in the podcast that magic has evolved, so what, in your opinion, is the best evolution?
