if you pull it off perfectly, then it's still most likely your presentation. Sure you may think you have a great presentation. And you might, but if THEY don't think so, it won't matter. It must appeal to them. Know what makes your audience tick. It could also be that they don't care for it so...

That's great! I'm glad to hear that... I'm one of those people that I think does much better performing than practicing as far as dialogue goes. And while I am very iffy on patter, I believe in having great preparation. I think it depends on what the patter is about and who is using it.

I suggest if you really have an earnest desire to teach people. Teach things that would not expose valuable SECRET moves in magic. Teach basic fundamentals. teach the regular hindu shuffle. over hand shuffle. whatever else suits your fancy
