Reactions I get from coin bends are always very good! But I recommend not getting the boa, or any other coin bender. Most are hard to conceal if you want to bend in front of the spectator, just bend the coins beforehand and switch them, much easier, less expensive and your more clean throughout...

You can get a perfect piece of glass from a small picture frame, got mine at Wal-mart. Dry-Erase marker you can find almost anywhere, probably Wal-mart again too.

That's what I thought when I saw the thread title too. I was lie "Why would I remove the ego?" lol. Nice points though, lots to take in. I know I probably perform for my ego but that doesn't mean that the spectator doesn't enjoy it as well. A little ego (or big!) in a performance works for...
