i know there is endless debate about rocking your hands when doing a pass. In the case of this video it is def too much. If you are doing the pass on an off beat, the hands seperated and while talking, then casually bringing the hands together, it is fine to not rock as no one will be looking...

so i checked this out and it doesnt utilize this exact move. He does a tenkai steal from putting the card to the middle, but he puts it on top right away. Brad Christian (sp.) teaches this way too in one of his ninja dvds. I also checked his reality displacement move which starts out similar...

there is a hellofalot of stuff i would recommend before that. even the all mighty buck twins have a good essay posted about the founders of magic and the books that they would recommend and it is extensive.
