It's a practice issue. Just keep failing at it and one day it'll happen. Ther'es no advise that can be given, except keep at it, but I would also suggest don't over try. Just try it for a while a day over time and one day it'll just pan out.

I just hooked myself up with some spare gimmicks. I use this a lot and my gimmicks are tired looking. This is an absolutely genious effect, and whether he does it with Theory 11 or otherwise I hope that he continues to produce this effect with someone. (and some cards, lol.)

Yeah this is definatley only something you want to try if its in your act. If you're a happy go lucky type performer, pulling this one out the bag would probably get you the wrong kind of reactions, lol. If you're a geek magician with the right persona to pull it off, it's probably dope.

Flashy doubles make the double look less possible to a layman, and look sexy to magicians. There's no harm in him wanting to learn some variations on a double lift, and it'll help his card handling when he gets to the stage where he realizes the less attention you draw to a double the better...
