    Jerry's Nuggets Prices Announced

OMG Thank you so much for that post. Finally a voice of reality. I'm so sick of hearing, "Nuggets are the best feeling cards in the world" or "They feel way better than any other cards" or, "they are the best cards in the world." They are horrifically coated USPC's standard stock cards that...

Knock On Wood: A Short Horror Story

This is what I'm talking about. Sarcasm is spoken. This was irony. Its the fundamentals. Keep having fun though.

Dear, Sweet Jen : A Short Story

There's a difference between perfection and trash. It's hyperbolic in the extreme to associate what he wrote with perfection or not being perfect. I'm not looking for perfection, I'm looking for some evidence that he didn't just throw random words on the page and declare it 'good.' You'll...

Dear, Sweet Jen : A Short Story

I don't question your ability to write for fun, I'm questioning your right to call what you produce good, when on every objective level it fails. You can tell stories, you have stuff to say, but that's about 2% of the battle. Your execution is shocking, and you need to really work hard on it. As...

Knock On Wood: A Short Horror Story

It should, to prepare a piece of prose like this, take about three to four hours, minimum to write the first draft. It's not that you don't have the ability to tell stories, you obviously have that talent, its the execution that is so disappointing. You should literally think about every...

Dear, Sweet Jen : A Short Story

Nor should you ever read a piece of fiction billed as 'romance' but there are literary works that have romance as a theme within them that you should read. To use a pop culture reference, but a good one none the less, Captain Corelli's Mandolin by De Bernier, or his less well known piece, A...

Knock On Wood: A Short Horror Story

Without a doubt the finest display of literary capability I've ever witnessed. Its rare that a piece terrifies me to the extent of being reduced to a quivering wreck through the utilization of such visceral descriptive and constructive devices but this particular entry succeeded on every level...

Dear, Sweet Jen : A Short Story

Because frankly I thought I'd spare you the pain, and let you dismiss it as a useless comment. You obviously enjoy the circle jerk that erupted more than the possibility that this might just be cliche gibberish that suggests that you should stick to magic. Aside from the confused tense...

Dear, Sweet Jen : A Short Story

Bleagh, cliche, unadventurous and no where near as smart as it thought it was. Other than that....great!

theory11 bulletin :: Remaining Days of PANIC - Full Details

I sent Aaron Fisher an e-mail and asked him if Panic would be back (as well as pointing out how much of a shame it would be if the magic community was deprived of that effect). He said that I could "take it to the bank" that Panic will be back at some point and to watch this space.

    Ellusionist vs T11 Produced DVDs

Quoted for so much truth it's unreal. He's got to be one of the best teachers in magic at the moment.

I'm Looking for a multi-trick DVD or Book that...

WTF is that? Lol. He asked about DVDs that don't have card magic in them? How does knowing some magic that is not card magic make someone extraordinary? Moreover, outside of an acid trip, how is that going to result in an existential crisis? I mean seriously, put down the pipe man. Most of...

    One-Handed Shuffle Help

It's a practice issue. Just keep failing at it and one day it'll happen. Ther'es no advise that can be given, except keep at it, but I would also suggest don't over try. Just try it for a while a day over time and one day it'll just pan out.

    Torn and Restored Matrix?

It's pretty hard, but extremely practical once you get the sleights down. It's a bit like Believe on acid.

Wayne Houchin Daily Update - Problem

Not having the same problem. Try buying a new PC. ;-) Lol. May just be high traffic? Try again!

    Ellusionist vs T11 Produced DVDs

It's about the teacher. I've heard panic come up a couple of times, and the teaching on that DVD is absolutely amazing, but that's also true of Search and Destroy, which is one of the best taught DVDs I've ever owned. I don't really care about the production to be honest, I want to hear from...

    Blind - My Performance

Good performance, but really this is not something that should be posted on YouTube. This kind of trick does not stand up to the scrutany of the camera (like so much close up magic) and this video should probably be taken down. Great performance though, lol.

theory11 bulletin :: Remaining Days of PANIC - Full Details

I just hooked myself up with some spare gimmicks. I use this a lot and my gimmicks are tired looking. This is an absolutely genious effect, and whether he does it with Theory 11 or otherwise I hope that he continues to produce this effect with someone. (and some cards, lol.)

    SICK by Sean Fields

Yeah this is definatley only something you want to try if its in your act. If you're a happy go lucky type performer, pulling this one out the bag would probably get you the wrong kind of reactions, lol. If you're a geek magician with the right persona to pull it off, it's probably dope.

Where can I learn J. Bayme's double lift?

Flashy doubles make the double look less possible to a layman, and look sexy to magicians. There's no harm in him wanting to learn some variations on a double lift, and it'll help his card handling when he gets to the stage where he realizes the less attention you draw to a double the better...
