I knew his mind was 10 levels above anyone here but I have never really seen him use cards (besides that really weird trick with the two people) so I didn't think he really had much skill with them...

If I really wanted to do card tricks under those circumstances I would probably do something like Twisting The Aces where they don't have to touch the cards but you can still pull off a very cool trick.

That would not only be so confusing to juggle in your mind, but also seems like something Derren Brown already thought of and doesn't have the dexterity to pull off.

I think that most of them should be the 24 hour one, though I don't think that a "flash" contest every month or two would kill us.

Rev, I agree with almost everything you said, however I think the tuxedo, clown, magician type is becoming less of a stereotype, and I think a part of that was the film Now You See Me, whether you liked the movie or not, it displayed magicians in a more "human" way, if you understand what I mean.
