    Blanks

Bro, just checked them out. They look great. I'll definitely look into them. I might still try and make my own though, since you need a LOT of force to break through the finish and ink, and even more to start picking up the ink.

    Blanks

Oh and just in case anyone needed an update on the blank card with an eraser: So I have found that no nail polish remover is required, though the eraser still takes quite a bit of the finish off (still less than the nail polish remover). However, if you do plan to use an eraser I would suggest...

Saturday Night Contest - In Control

Good luck everyone! Oh and Casey, it says Saturday Night Control in the title :p Not sure if that was meant or not, but just to let you know.

Looking for a card trick from years ago. Maybe someone here knows....

The deck is called a stripper deck, since you strip the card out, though yours seemed to be marked. Here is an Amazon Link https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Makers-Bicycle-Stripper-Tricks/dp/B000K269PS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501370997&sr=8-1&keywords=bicycle+trick+decks You can mark one yourself if...

Patter that has little to do with the trick

So long story short, I basically used math and some common givens to "prove" that we can all mathematically be seagulls (or anything else for that matter) if we eat water that has a ton of cornstarch dissolved in it with a fork (in a hypothetical world). Everyone I have told this too has...

    Fighting exposure

I would love for magic to be able to be protected by copy right. However, the legal issues of this are so in depth that I can't even explain it. This isn't so much exposure as it is stealing. You can actually report it to the creators, who might be able to do something. For example, Shin Lim...

    E.A.I.A.C.A.A.N.

Not really. If you invisibly control it to the top using a sp**** c*** as they call out the card, you can slip cut it to wherever you need to do your method.

I always think that an ACAAN is more powerful wen the card is not taken out of the deck. Yes. there are ways to do this.

Best MisDirection Tools, Tips, and Tricks?

One of the best things you can do is give the audience something else to look at. For example, I do an in the hands trick where I ditch a copped card as I retrieve the tuck case from my pocket, right before I put the deck in the case and then give it to the spectator. If anyone catches the cop...

    Creating a small street show.

So should I just sort of walk up to people who are clearly not in a rush, or just hanging out, and ask them if they want to see magic, stay for 8 - 12 min, then leave?

    Creating a small street show.

Ok, so after reading what you have said, I think I should probably work more with just performing before I go for a full on 20 - 30 minute street show. Most of my performances had been in a school setting, but I'm trying to work int more of a street setting so I can perform more often, and gain...

    Resources on overhand shuffle stacking

Some moves are specifically designed for magic and wont be able to used in a game too often, such as a in the hands false shuffle w/ a bridge, since a lot of players wont like you using a in the hands riffle shuffle over a tabled one (I Don't think it'll be too much of a problem though)...

New to card Magic - Learn all use some?

By video tutorials do you mean YouTube or Downloads from TXI, E, Penguin, etc.? The Downloads & DVDs are definitely a great place to learn, though they will generally be focused around one trick. It is better for you to learn a wide variety when you start. As for YouTube, a ton of the stuff...

Jason Englands New Bottom Dealing Tutorial!!

@FunkyBottoms I think I wrote less on my AP exam lol I guess I'd get that way if Jason England Quoted my post too. I kinda skimmed through your posts, and here is what I think the important things to take away are. So, just in case any one is interested... Here is the TL;DR version - A)...

New to card Magic - Learn all use some?

So far, it looks like you have learned nothing but controls. I think you would actually really enjoy The Royal Road to Card Magic. Its a beginners book that will take you through the basics (and it's cheap). Nothing you have learned thus far can really constitute into a full on trick, much less...

    False Wash Shuffle

Yeah, he's not selling solo books, but his "Legacy" is super cheap considering it has all of his books except for HTCAC... $20 for that? Count me in. (especially since some of his books cost over 20 when they were stand alone). Do you know which book it is located in?

    Creating a small street show.

I am doing this just for performance & experience. There most likely wont be any other things going on - sometimes if some major game is being played, they put it up on this jumbotron wall thing in the place, but that's not going to be the case when I perform. Oh, and sometimes, some idiot...

    Need opinions on back design

Couldn't he print with MPC for a couple prototypes, and then do a kickstarter to print with USPCC or EPCC? He could also use those ad cards put into every USPCC deck, but chances are he threw them away like the rest of us :D

    Resources on overhand shuffle stacking

Slip cut, and then I believe there was an extended manuscript written by him, or someone else in an annotated version talking about many different moves that could be made better, but I can't remember where I read that. It might be in the fore word, maybe somewhere else.
