This is great advice, but if you do not have a Porper clip then grab some heavy books and place them on top of the deck and leave it for a few days. If it's hot outside, it's not a good idea to keep them inside your pockets because your pockets heat up which will warp the cards; like Rob said...

Revolutionary Card Technique has quite difficult stuff for someone who just got into magic. Card College is acclaimed the best beginning card magic book next to Royal Road. You can never go wrong with Card College, ever.
