    Magician Vs. Trick Man

again i agree with Mat, its an exercise in creativity, and at the end of that year he can look back, analyze what worked and what didn't and develop further any idea's that truly speak to him. He's not spending 365 days trying to perfect one effect's presentation to a spec, he's trying to...

    Uzumaki....

The big deal is that book. Yeah, people who dont know FA can now learn it ondemand, but the book looks like a real work of art and a true collectors dream. I have the lecture dvd but i still wish i had the cash to pick a copy up. Brad Fulton is a crazy amazing photographer and this book like...

    Anaconda by Bone Ho

i dunno, i feel like the anaconda is only real crazy impressive when shown in slow motion, or a photo, at full speed it seems diminished. I like playing around with the move but i dont know how much i would use it in a sequence

    Magician Vs. Trick Man

everyone is so caught up in titles and words, trickster, magician, cardist, flourisher, XCMer, Illusionist, Conjuror, its all just words. All that really matters is your intent. If you intend to learn a few tricks and show off then thats what you will do. If you intend to master a craft and...

    Anaconda by Bone Ho

i actually practice with old cards. then when i use new its so much easier. The key ive found is moving both hands smoothly and simultaneously apart and finger strength finesse is KEY. Mines only about 2 1/2 to 3 consistently

    Magician Vs. Trick Man

the difference is someone who understands the basic principles of being a magician. someone who has a structured act, or routine who understands that presentation is what magic is about and can entertain. a "trick man" as you put it is someone who knows a few methods and can do a few tricks...

    The Wire!

f-f-f-f-f-f-f-f--f FACE PALM! its no longer even an option on the site. no news, no updates no nothing, although JB did say there was going to be some news about it when the new site was revealed. Right now its a black hole, questions go in and nothing comes out... except members flaming you...

    Controlling selection for sandwiches, collectors...

ok.... i'll be honest the ONLY time i ever use a key card principle these days is with other magicians because so often does it catch them off guard and fry's them. But otherwise, there are really so many better options out there

What is the most invisible move you can do?

i agree with chris on both points. But i think the Most invisible moves you could do is a cut to a crimp. Seems fair, unless they closely examine the deck. Also a proper zarrow can be done pretty clean. Thats why its one of the few that gamblers actually picked up.

    Controlling selection for sandwiches, collectors...

its not a terrible idea and one ive played with a few times. The issue is i really dislike having to scan the cards faces after having a card selected. It really just doesn't appeal to me and in my opinion seems suspicious to some spectators. No by all means im sure it works for some people i...

Spectator Walking Away In Middle of Performance

i think my main point may have been unclear. This kid was VOLUNTEERING. Now if you were pursuing a job, or something paid then yes, a bit of humility and patience is required, you cant burn bridges in a field where reputation and money are involved. However, you were volunteering YOUR time to...

Spectator Walking Away In Middle of Performance

okay, every other post you make is you judging people you dont know and its getting ridiculous. Yeah magic is important to me. Ive put a lot of time into it. Just like my photography, and my artwork and my work ethic. And no, not everyone values it the same as me, but you know what those who...
