I'm with Shane on this. A TT is the way to go and you only need a little practice with the proper folding and unfolding. It flies right by everyone because the heat is on the bill not your finger. I even hand it out with the dirty hand.

Are you familiar with the "out to lunch" effect with them? It is very simple and only utilizes a thick rubberband. The Flustration count showing the back blank is also strong and easy. Frixion pens are super easy but I know a lot of layman know how they work.

You may want to look into using the "out to lunch" principle with your cards. You can also use Frixion pens on the back. Torn and Restored Business Card. Show them all blank using a Flustration count and then push them through your fist making them magically print. Just throwing some ideas out...

I normally do mismade bill which I always carry, Crazy Man's Handcuff and then a Card Effect with the reveal on my business card so that they have it as a souvenir and my contact info for a possible gig later on down the road.

Luis is correct. You do not put your house number, street address, etc. on a business card. Not unless you have an office that people are coming to for a service such as a Spa. I've looked at at least 100 different business cards from different magicians and I have never seen that listed...

A lot of older magicians still use flash pots which ignite with the flip of a switch from a control board. It utilizes powder, canisters, and some wiring. It provides sort of a firework "poof" and flash. That might be a bit more than what you are looking for though.

Presentation, patter, emotional hooks and entertainment value are everything when it comes to the miracles we create. You can destroy an audience technically but if you are not giving them excitement and something to enjoy....then you have wasted your window of opportunity.
