A HA! by david harkey has a routine using a coin dropped in coffee. the coin doens't melt but it does bend and foam a lot. its found in Wayne Houchin's Unreal Montage. you could definitely adapt it to be a melting coin with nothing left. would just take some imagination. hope that helped
