The original intent of this thread was the simplicity of pop music nowadays, specifically the fact that most pop music uses the same tired, 4 chord formula. The OP was musing that it should be easy to get a name because of the 4 chord formula, irrelevant to anything about song writing...

Radiohead isn't pop, and Coldplay weren't pop until their most recent album, which really wasn't that impressive for them.

talent is usually relative, and musicians with what most people would define as "insane talent", would be: pioneers, such as Mozart, Dylan, Atkins; or extreme skill/interpretation and application of skill, such as Rubenstein, Lang Lang, Horowitz, Bernstein, arguably Ma.

it's dependent on the situation. If my spectators are really scrutinizing my moves, i'll pass. If they're spectators who won't question you at all, i'll use a top change or a double lift. But I usually deal with spectators who are looking pretty hard for moves, so I need convincers like...

if i see another cherry control + clipshift, I will do something drastic.
