    Psychokinetic Touches by Banachek (Book)

I bought this book a while back. And it is a good purchase. Although when you first read the method, you might doubt it and feel that you have been ripped off. But once you perform it... its just..... awesome. for 13 bucks, a small booklet may seem very little. But the gems inside is just...

    Believe - Clean?

You are left practically clean I bought believe a while back and I gotta say that its not one of the best things ever. What you get is a DVD of about 30 minutes. When i finished watching the DVD, it wasnt really a rip off, but it felt like I didnt get my moneys worth. Its not like they lied...

    Hecklers - My Experience

I half agree with this. It may be the case that you did not perform a trick or routine perfectly, without any flashing what so ever, so people may catch a few sleights and decide to point out. It may also be that the heckler just wants to get attention and seem knowledgable. Even if they didnt...

    Hecklers - My Experience

Yea I agree. But I always worry "what if they actually get the method correct" At this point, all I can do is smile slyly, nod, and say "YEA! YOU GOT IT RIGHT MAN!" and see if he thinks its sarcasm. haha When they do gimme a ilogical story, i usually agree seriously. LOL

    Hecklers - My Experience

Ive seen a few threads on hecklers and how to deal with them and what not, found it pretty interesting. Decided to share some of my past experience with these people. there are a few incidents which stuck in my mind and how I dealed with it. Ill go in chronological order. 1. I was about 1...

    What to get?

Paper Engine seems the best for a 7 month person. Greg Wilson's things are more intermediate and not as much material as a book.

    Getting...

In my opinion, you got some varying products there. Killer Key: Pretty interesting effect. Its not much different from any other copper silver trick. Its just a lot more "street". It seems like a thing you were just like "hey... lets see what i got in my pocket... hey look a key and a coin...

    Pen and Cigarette Stuff...

Pens: I cant really talk much bout pens, but below are a few products i have seen and used: Gregory Wilsons Recapped: Great effect, teaches you misdirection, sleight of hand, good stuff. Can be found in Off the Cuff, On the Spot, and Back in Action 2 i think. Appolo Robbins Son of Recapped...

    De'Ring by De'vo

For performing the effect of De'Ring, you do need specific factors in the ring. These arent hard things to achieve, they arent like "it must have a hole here and studs here". Its basically the size, shape, edge, etc. Everything is explained on the DVD. I wouldnt go buying a ring before getting...

    Breaking the Barrier

touche but have you seen comedians handle hecklers? both are entertainers, both try to make people happy. But if there is someone trying to ruin it, then why not shut them up. You can never always make everyone happy. I rather make the majority happy than one sad little fellow.

I Am Stumped - Card in Fruit

Carl Coutier's Bill in Kiwi is a great routine. It can do exactly what you had just said with a signed card. There is hardly any sneaky folding/rolling going on. Everything seems out in the open and you just need to know a few sleights. You could just use a dup inside a fruit and force a card...

    Geek Magic

Indeed then that can be said for any trick. Then not a single trick would be bad. im just pointing out what i think of Wounded, that it is not as practical, not really a effect if youre gonna bleed, and not reusable gimmick wise

    Breaking the Barrier

I do think that this is a good advice, but I dont think it exactly fixes the problem. No matter how well you present a trick, if they know how you do it, they still will. they might not speak up about it, but they still will.

    Breaking the Barrier

I dunno if its in any books or not you can buy it seperately and it comes with gimmicks. you can also buy the gimmicks alone as refills

    Breaking the Barrier

haha why not piss them off? they feel stupid, you feel smarter, they cant figure it out, they stomp off, no more heckler. XD

    Breaking the Barrier

I dont think this will work both those tricks are sleight of hand based, which gives them a chance to figure it out. Things like doubles and forces can easily be figured out no matter how well you execute it

    Ultra Smoke vs The Gecko

US2k for the win. It has many more applications, it looks way cooler, only a few things can do the same effect. It is easy to use, easy to hide, almost angle sensitive, and can enhance everysingle trick by a notch. The gecko, the effect although good, I find is a annoying product. They raise...

    Tango Half Dollar flipper coin

Alright. Lets get one thing straight, Gimmick coins will hardly if ever sound like a real coin. Any coin man can take two coins, where one of which is a gimmick, flip it and tell you which is the real thing. Most laymen do not notice when you drop a coin and it goes clunk. I am not a big fan...

    Breaking the Barrier

Ive had this problem when i first started magic and what not. Once you get mroe experience, you can make decisions on what to do. Lemme just start off by saying 85% of all the people I know dont believe in magic or powers or whatever. They have no idea how I do stuff but they decide it is a...

    Top Shot Problem

The top shot... what a annoying little piece of brilliance... I learnt it from one of my friends originally and then looked at Lennart Green's Green Magic DVDs. Many people have different ways of doing and what not, but its around the same thing. I hold it tight with the index and thumb at...
