Just so all of you know... This isn't, and most likely wasn't, ever meant to be called a "trick". It IS a "look-what-I-can-do" sequence, just like ALL flourishing 'shows'.

It's workable. Online translators aren't that great, though - they always take the literal definition of whatever word or words are typed into the textarea - no language "context" is used at all... You might find that with the right performance, you don't need to speak a lick o' French at all.

Eh, performances in that video were rather mediocre, but the technical moves and such are good. He has a good personality, connected with his audience, and did simple tricks - that's why he got the reactions he did. Any one of you could be out there doing something like this as well.

If you have trouble performing for people, perform more. For strangers and people you know alike. And be yourself, not an actor.
