Funny or Not So Funny Screw Ups - No Way Out

One that comes immediately to mind. Second performance of tossed out deck - audience members are tossing the deck to the next person, and on the third throw the elastic snaps and the cards go everywhere. I called out those three correctly, but the helpful spectators picking up the cards...

I like the idea of using v2.2 etc. Makes much more sense. I love that people love these cards so much to go into so much detail!

    Monarch Collectors Guide

So I was surfing around and found this recent post by a collector that was really well put together with pictures about all the variants of the monarch decks. Thought I'd share. https://unitedcardists.com/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=15110 As for accuracy, I don't know all the details, but I do recall...

Saturday Night Contest - Create A Trick!

I think the confusion is that you got somewhere that the judging begins at 11. Not sure where you got that. All entries entered before 11 are eligible for judging. So just like you and I, the judges can watch the videos as they come in. Hope that clears it up! Congrats Kaan!! Wicked job!

    In the olden days ...

Oh man, the beginning... I don't have time to type it in full, but I remember seeing a post on Penguin Magic forums about the ten theories of magic, and how an eleventh was coming. When you followed the link, it went to a website with a cryptic video. As the weeks passed more videos were...

    Thumb tip and scarves

To be honest, I do a quick routine with a simple silk vanish as an opener for one of my strolling sets, and it's so strong. It is the only opener I do that gets applause 90 percent of the time.

    Failed Force

Do a classic force with every card trick you do. Most tricks you don't need it, but it gives you lots of practice with very little pressure. Then if you hit it, go ahead and do the trick that needs it, otherwise stick with the original plan.

What's a good response to "Sorry it's against my/our religion"?

I did a Russian Community event last year and had a woman at a table decline because she was "from the old country". She was quite rude and abrupt about it. I wished them a great evening, and went on with things. Later that evening on my way out, I headed into the elevator and she came in...
