    Ha ha, I'm totally the same. Whether it's flipping through old magic magazines or surfing the net for new stuff, I love looking for new material. I has to fit in my show before ill buy, so that keeps me at bay.

    When I was working in the restaurant, there was always someone peeking over from behind me, so I really only worked on angle friendly effects (acr, Biddle, predictions etc). Nearly all of my walk around card effects are impromptu and angle proof now.

    Building a show takes some time. As you part of the Edmonton magic club? There's lots of great wisdom and experience there. Whyte Ave is an interesting place to start. But you need to work on your own and presentation.
