    Stage magic

kryss95, It might be helpful for you to post some effects that you already have and know that you think might work for stage. Then we might be able to give you some tips and ideas for making them work better on stage. There is a ton of great stage material out there - most of it depends on...

    Earpiece Device

I recall seeing some in magic magazine last year. I'll see if I can dig it up. I remember that it wasn't cheap. That said, is there a certain effect that you want to accomplish? There may be much less expensive way (I'm thinking corinda).

    Restaurant Magic Tricks

Great advice. Most of my set is impromptu because of my time in the restaurant. I love Gregory Wilson's On the Spot -great impromptu material -much of it works great in the restaurant. (Spectators love sponge balls)

Saturday Night Contest - New Year Resolutions (2)

I came up with a triumph routine using a double backer, but couldn't get it filmed in time (Sad day). Good luck to everyone though!

Bringing in the New Year with Magic!

Great idea Shane. Lost and Found is a well thought out move. I don't wear a hat ever, but I love this. My brain is spinning with more ideas. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to what you have in store!

    Favorite change

I love the shake change and the shapeshifter. Both madly visible and are fun for me to watch too. I also love the snap change for the same reason.

    Essential Magic Conference?

It is a little unfortunate that there has been no update - not even a "it's coming much later". Hopefully communication will open up.

    What to take in college

The best advice here is to take some general classes in your first year to try out a few things to see what you love (the world is bigger than you know). However, if you think you have what it takes, pursue a career in magic. But do your homework first - or else you will be a homeless magician...

Fantastic Rick! The little I know about you from these forums, it sounds like you deserve it. Congrats!

    What to take in college

If you want to be a better magician, Theatre is a must. If you want to have work, and to manage your house well, then business is a wise decision. Perhaps business major and a theatre minor.

    Holiday Contest Winner

Hmm, my package also had no scratch cards in it. I submitted a ticket and they sent me new ones back in December. But looking at the box, I wonder if they fell out. There was only tape down the middle seam, and that left some holes. My invoice was half under one of the flaps in the box, so if...

    Deck One Joker

I wouldn't worry too much. I understood because you said, "the face on the Joker" rather than the face "of" the joker. You said it correctly. I wouldn't fault you for a lack of communication. That said, I don't see a human face, but if you are thinking that the two parallel rectangles are like...

    Go the Extra Mile

I personally think that you can't ever go wrong when going the extra mile. You can't ever serve too much, but you just need to focus your service in the right areas. And like mentioned above, you may never see a tangible reward, but I feel it's always worth it. And in a world that preaches to...
