Tally Ho's vs. Split Spades Lions

Split spades lions if you're doing flourishes and you have the cash to buy them in bulk. Regular tally hos are great for flourish and magic too. And they are cheaper of course.

    Solution for Sweaty Palms?

The problems i face with sweaty palms is my sweat makes my cards sticky and moist. And there's a easy solution to that. After a day of flourishing or magic, spread out your cards in an air-conditioned room. This will remove every single bit of sweat from your cards and your cards will feel...

    Your Performance Persona

I try to be myself when I perform and I avoid using fake stories for my magic. I phrase my sentences such in a way that my spectators will understand every part of it rather than my usual sloppy way of talking with my friends.

When will we be seeing more mentalism from theory11?

Yeah only Daniel and Wayne does mentalism. If other theory11 artists start learning mentalism, that would be cool. Imagine both Dan and Dave surrounding a spectator and talking to him/her. That would drive the spectator nuts! :)

Dangerous - Mystique - Favorite Trick?

Some of us who voted for Angel Zero never knew about it in TWO. The reason that 32 people voted for Angel Zero isn't only because Daniel got a good reaction. In Mystique, the method for it is so simple, yet it gives such a good reaction. It doesn't require much skill too. That is why many...

    Joel Paschall - I thought...

I agree that they should have less regular 1 on 1 updates. If they were to create a 1 on 1 every week, i think they would run out of ideas pretty soon. And people will complain about the 1 on 1s.

    July 08 :: Purist.

A purist is someone who uses pure sleight of hand instead of gimmicks and duplicate cards Pros The whole deck of cards can be examined by the spectators before and after the trick. There is no need to palm the gaff or duplicate away. Cons There are some effects that can only be done with...

    Opinion?

Both BURN by Daniel Madison and Prophet by Tom Isaacson are great and very visual. Axe, since you have both discs of dangerous, you should know how creative Daniel Madison's mind is. I would recommend BURN as he teaches you how to make the gimmicks and sleights to go with your routine.

    Loops or Dangerous?

If you're a card guy, go for dangerous. It has more material for cards compared to loops. The tricks and flourishes taught in dangerous are great too.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind - CC2

He didn't really screw the trick up. He just forgot whether he shuffled the first 3 cards off while he was explaining, hence the 8 of spades became another card. And no, this trick isn't impossible. However, I dislike the method which he teaches. I find it too troublesome and complicated. I...

    Which is Better?

Either Burn by Daniel Madison or Surfaced will be great. Maybe you should wait a little while till they are released and read the reviews about it.

How did you get started in magic?

I've always been fascinated by the magic shows on television. I started to learn magic with a friend when I was 12 years old. During the end of that year, both of us went to different schools. I didn't know any magicians at my school and my passion for magic died. However, this year, I had a...
