Try getting a card clip. I know that it is expensive, but trust me, it's definitely worth it. I have a card clip from D&D and it definitely made my cards last longer.

I do not own Carney on Palming DVD, but I highly suggest you to do it because he seems a very good teacher. Besides, this dvd has more information on palming than Jason England Foundations.
