Good work! I loved it. I love that it's simple and direct. It really bothers me how magicians are so quick to judge effects based on how well they fool themselves and don't give any thought to how it would play in the real world. This is an effect that would play beautifully in the real world...

There are no secrets to learning from books. You just actually need to put some effort into it (unlike with DVDs). Read and re-read with a dictionary nearby. That's the best advice I can give you. -Colin
