    Coin Above Spectators Hand Trick

This is called body loading. Apollo Robbins has some great tips on this. I've just returned from an amazing night at the Wayne Houchin Strange Ideas lecture. Let me begin by saying if you can attend any of the remaining lectures, DO IT. The lecture was chocked full of amazingly unique and original ideas. The thing that always impresses me most about Wayne isn't...

    tricks for big audiences

For a talent show you are gonna wanna keep it brief. A very short set, i would say about 3 effects would be right. Card tricks generally aren't going to play well (there are a few exceptions) Also, having a spectator come onto stage is going to take time. An opener should be something quick...

    Tricks of David Blaine

HAHAHAHA thanks Chris. I'm glad someone got the reference. And like you said, Lorayne has some amazing magic, regardless of other issues. My personal favorite OTW are by far Michael Feldman's and Derren Brown's. Both are fantastic.

    Tricks of David Blaine

ChristopherT pretty much has you covered on all of it. I will just add two things. First, the Out of this World is not done impromptu. Notice that the shuffling isn't shown. Most likely he used either a deck switch or a quick color separation. If you are interested in learning something...

    Ideas VALENTINES MAGIC

While i agree with Krab 1 about it being a too late to learn anything, i'm going to post a list of some ideas anyways, because 1, someone else will ask, and 2 maybe next year people will USE THE SEARCH button and just find this. 1) A rose production is always nice. My personal favorite is...

    David Blaine trick

It is compression. The inflated deck principle has been around a long LONG time. That's one of the main reasons that Compression was never released, crediting issues. Just look around into some old books and you should be able to find something on the Inflated deck principle. I don't...

Top 3 card tricks from T11

I also recommend spending your money on something more substantial such as a book. But to answer your question, i would highly recommend 5-speed by Chris Kenner, Untitled by Luke Dancy (even though i don't care for the guy, it's a good simple effect) and Shifty by Chris Kenner. I would also...

Card tricks with multiple stooges! HELP?

Keep it simple. Presentation big, sleight small. I would recommend something avoiding straight mentalism as its more acting dependent and not everyone can pull it off, let alone a crowd full of layman. Here's a thought. Pull the birthday girl up, pander on about how birthday's are special...

    Where can I find this?

He won't release it. He has been saying that for years but it's his own personal trick and he likes having it to himself. He has taught it to very few people. Shawn is a great guy but his own personal favorites stay in his repertoire.
