    The Pass

http://web.me.com/jonathankamm/kammagicstore/main/main.html I have not seen his video on the pass, so I don't know how he teaches, however, his pass is quite beautiful.

    Card Game flourishes etc

Foundations is a great reccomendation, but, honestly, if you aren't willing to put in the time to practice, there's really nothing that will suit you.

    Dribbling cards while performing...

I do that too and I find people are more interested in a dribble than what I have to say (it's like talking to a girl with big boobs)... I'm trying not to do it as much... However, I think when people see a dribble, they don't think anything funny is going on and maybe even think the cards...

    Walkaround Magic Opener?

If you flourish at all, usually you can tell who is interested or not. A few fancy fans and cuts often catches peoples eyes. From there, some times people just ask if I do magic, but most of them, when I see someone is interested, I just ask if they want to see a trick. I've never really run...

    Stand Up Magic

Wouldn't this be parlour magic? I do the ID in bigger situations as well as Clutch and Distortion. Back palming is something else I would like to try in this type of environment.

    To any willing cardists

Do I do it? No... I flourish more for fun and to add dexterity to my fingers. However, I think some magicians can incorporate flourishing into their routines and not have it hurt them. He may get a lot of hate on the net, but Brian Tudor has some flourishing within some of his routines, and...

    Without Performing?

Wow... that's interesting. I'm sure you could still perform without speaking, but that makes it a hell of a lot harder to be honest. I think you can make a living at it, but I think you'd have to be more an assistant / creator of effects for other artists... just my thought.

    Quick Wit Required

So I did this trick a little while ago for this girl who was quite frankly beautiful and through my presentation of the effect, she had to touch my hand. As she touched my hand, a little static shock went off between us. I said, "I feel a spark between us. There's a little chemistry here."...

    Sticky Card problem

When you get your new cards try to keep your hands as clean as possible. It keeps them from getting chunky... at least, it will take longer.

    Has this been done?

Sounds like a really awesome trick... I've heard of similar plots, but nothing quite the same.

    Defensive Laymen

What I do when anyone tells me how they think a trick is done is I just agree sarcastically. Even if they're completely wrong. I think it's a bit harder with geek magic because most people want to believe it's real and gross.

Card trick you would do for a magician...?

I personally don't like performing for Magicians unless I have a new effect I'd like to run through someone I trust for suggestions.

Art of Magic by Wayne Houchin Question

Someone else, I don't remember who, approached Wayne, telling him that he had also come up with a very similar effect and was in the process of publishing and, Wayne being a good guy, took it off the DVD.

I've seen a few meet-ups downtown, but not in the north... I'm coming from the East unfortunately.

    Double Back Tallys

Black decks always have a double backer and blank face... Other than that, I don't know what else you can do.

    Wayne Houchin Stuff

I have both effects and have never don't Indecent in real life. It's a very good effect, but I haven't been able to do it with that much consistency so I've never pulled it out for real people. I prefer Lee Asher's Indecent. Distortion is a great effect that I've only done a few times and...
