    Deck Dating

Yeah. Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V. Nice There's the chart Llin didn't include in the post - which is what you'll be after. This is for the UDC on the Ace. I collect old USPCC playing cards, Treasury decks, and Russell & Morgan, Sam Hart and Dougherty decks. Don't collect Hoyles or Mavericks...

Magic product you would NEVER recommend.

In all seriousness, I actually enjoy the stuff fro DC. Daniel Madison on the other hand, has some effects (in his pdf's) that have no practical value whatsoever. Some things from Pariah spring to mind. Also Drop from M. Sounded like an awesome effect, but in practice was not so good (How do you...

    Ellusionist Or theory11

Oh Ellusionist. Definitely Ellusionist. Seriously though, Hit and Miss from both companies. Ellusionist's 1800's look nice, but handle like a ten-pack of sandpaper. Likewise, Theory11's Guardians have a certain appeal, but do not wear well, and seem to be cut with a blunt woodsaw. On the...

Magic / Cardistry : Become Amazingly Great

Just for those wondering about all this consciousness and incompetence I thought I'd explain a little further, as the whole explaining thing used to be my career. Unconscious incompetence Is the first level of learning anything. What it means is that you don't know how/ you can't do, or you...

Hey does anyone know which sleight is used in this trick?

Whilst this forum does not condone exposure, I can advise you that you will not find the method in any book. The reason being that there is no sleight used, it instead a piece of magical apparatus. As for the name of the creator/name of the apparatus, I feel it's a question better answered by a...

    Arcane Cards @ Ellusionist

The faces and pips on the court cards have changed, the rune theme has been continued through the sashes of the royals. As far as the number cards go, they have been altered slightly, with touches of fading on the pips - like the Shadow Masters - but nowhere near as drastic. I'll admit, the...

    Arcane Cards @ Ellusionist

Ta Daa! Ask and ye shall receive. Arcane's are printed in both black and white, with subtle design differences between the two. Unfortunately, this pic (from George's review on the Cafe) doesn't do the design justice. The close-up 'teaser' shots on the product page (link in my above post)...

    Magic-Con 2010 - Who's Coming?

There's apparently a couple of us going - I'm surprised, not only at how passionate Australian magicians are that they'll journey all the way to the states to attend a conference, but that there's actually more Australian magicians around then I thought. For a country with a grand total of...

    Magic-Con 2010 - Who's Coming?

I'm making the trip from Down Under to attend. As much as I respect Chris Kenner and near-worship him for his creative genius, I couldn't turn down a workshop named after a Darwin Ortiz book. There's a thread over at DnD for people who are looking for a room-mate to help bring accommodation...

    Absolut Vodka Cards

Johnnie Walkers. Absoluts were originally given out free in the 'Absolut Swag' a few years ago. Dan and Dave made them popular by saying they were their favourite practice deck and advertising them for $10 each in an exhibition on their site a while back. Gotta admit, for 'plastic coated'...

Does anyone know where I can learn this trick?

Yes, the Deck is still in the Cellophane, completely sealed. The Signed Card does not need to go in the right spot, it can go anywhere in the deck, even face up in a face down deck. The Deck can be in any order you want it to be. JS.

Does anyone know where I can learn this trick?

Sorry to put it so bluntly; but you're wrong. No duplicates need to be used (except of course, for the new deck). Without getting into exposure, the 'Unopened' card case is not previously rigged with the card, as the card does not need to be forced. This can be done with a signed card, and...
