    Showing potential signs of Parkinson's

Craig, of all the people to reply, I hoped most of all that you would. I've seen that despite your physical disabilities you've been able to overcome it, and that to me makes you a brave, brave hero in my book. I needed someone like you to tell me that it shouldnb't matter what happens to me, as...

    Showing potential signs of Parkinson's

Thanks guys, it wasn't just an internet thing though, I called a doctor a couple of days ago who confirmed the symptoms might be linked

    Showing potential signs of Parkinson's

I have noticed that my hands seem to lessen the trembling when I start performing. I perform at a restaurant in Jacksboro and lately people have noticed the trembling before I begin my routine, but it seems to lessen once I begin moving my hands, so what you are saying makes a lot of sense. I am...

    America's Got Talent suggestions

A magician has yet to win AGT, in knowing that you have to think of the reality, there have been astounding magicians (no...not Collins Key, I swear I'm not referring to him.) in the past on that show, which gives people a certain standard, the effects you listed are good effects, but well known...

    Showing potential signs of Parkinson's

It does, and I appreciate it, I don't know much about the disease, part of why it frightens me. But if magic can actually help, that makes me feel a lot better.

    Showing potential signs of Parkinson's

Recently I have been showing strange signs in my body. Massive tremors, loss and inability to sleep, loss of smell, trouble moving, and terrible posture. A search of these symptoms show I have signs of Parkinson's. I consulted a doctor who verified the potential threat, and I'm due to get it...

how magic simplified your life ?

I think it's helped me a lot with social anxiety. If I see a cute girl I want to talk to, I can actually muster up courage to go up to her, if I have an embarrassing question to ask to someone, I can ask it with ease. I think guerrilla street magic helped me with that. I click with people...

    David Blaine trick

If you want to make sure to get the cards right every time, not taking a gamble with hearts as blaine did, why not Say "pick a color, red or black." If they say red, make every card but the reds vanish. If they say black, make all of the black cards vanish.

    Design a Deck

Exactly! It shouldn't be about the cards, it should be about the performance! Some of the worst magicians I know use beautiful decks. Personally, I think there's nothing wrong with a pack of bikes from Walmart.

    Magician's rings

You wouldn't be able to do any tricks with this, but my mentor Ron Wilson in Wichita Falls has rings he found at earthbound that look like three linking rings connected together, truly beautiful piece.

    Design a Deck

I contacted Jason Brumbalow on the subject a few months ago, you can go on kardwell, which has a 10 deck minimum. So you'd be out 100 bucks, better than USPC run which I guess is around 5000 dollars, I have a deck I made using the design I put together using makeplayingcards.com it's okay, put a...

    Don't trust andrew mayne

I agree with you all, however I think the media needed something like this out there, how many times have we wished that Criss Angel wasn't modern youth's first idea of a "magician," Andrew show, although staged does show new audiences something new, maybe it's all for the better.

    Sponge Ball magic.

You both have an excellent point, I typically tender different tricks for different people. Although I do the sponge ball/card routine, typically I go with the classic vanish and reappearance in a spectators hand, It shocks them, the only trouble I have with it is finding an excuse to have them...

    Sponge Ball magic.

Here's an Idea that I've always used in my routine, feel free to use it if you like. (Note, I use smaller one inch sponge balls in my routine) Have a spectator inspect a red sponge ball, excuse it by saying "What card is represented by the number 1?" They reply with "The Ace." You then say...

    Guardians Deck Review

I loved the look, but after a week the cards wouldn't fan properly, they wore out faster than a normal pack of bikes, at least in my experience. I decided to go with shadow-masters as a performance deck instead.
